Describe what is happening. FraudPause checks the warning signs, reviews public links when available, and gives you clear next steps.
Private educational review: Do not enter passwords, PINs, Social Security or Medicare numbers, or full account or card numbers. FraudPause does not investigate cases, identify a caller, or guarantee that something is safe.

A stronger second opinion
FraudPause combines practical fraud analysis with independent verification steps. It explains what it found without pretending an automated check can prove safety.
Looks for urgency, secrecy, impersonation, emotional pressure, unusual payments, and multi-step scam stories.
When a public link is included, Google Web Risk checks it against current threat information without opening it.
Helps you leave the suspicious conversation and reach a reviewed bank, company, carrier, or government source.
Compares a 10-digit number with official contacts and a dated snapshot of FTC unwanted-call complaints.
FraudPause checks wording, multi-step scam progressions, and combinations of events across your description using reviewed public guidance. It highlights the point where stopping matters most and compares the request with what legitimate communication allows. These are English-language pattern rules, not an AI conversation or an investigation. It does not investigate cases, verify a caller, detect spoofing, or promise recovery. Its text checks may miss context.
Uploaded screenshots are read on your device to extract English text; the image is not sent to or stored by GSC. Message text and phone checks stay in this browser tab. When live link checking is available and you press Check now, up to five public web addresses are sent through GSC to Google Web Risk. This includes each link’s path and query; remove private links before checking. GSC stores usage counts, short-lived hashed rate-limit identifiers, and hashed link keys with expiring threat results, not message text, images, or raw URLs. There is no account, saved case history, or automatic report. Clear & check another, closing, or reloading clears your entries from this tab. Copied or printed summaries remain wherever you put them. External links have their own privacy policies; hosting providers may keep ordinary request logs.
The phone tool checks official contacts and a dated snapshot of seven FTC complaint files. Reports are unverified and may involve spoofed numbers. No match does not mean safe. Coverage dates appear with every number result; current carrier or contact details should be confirmed on official pages.
